Brandon surfer behind the scenes, making sure our members and customers receive WOW customer experiences with our laid-back Woodie’s vibe.
Before Woodie’s, he was a Location Manager for Rich’s Car Wash on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, and is the former President of his family business, Cable Marketing and Installation, Inc. During his 10 years of experience as President, Brandon was responsible for full operations as he led a team of 125 employees, while coordinating new bids, managing contracts, assisting with human resource administration, and establishing satellite office locations.
Brandon caught a wave to Tampa from Biloxi, Mississippi along with his wife, Cadi and three children, Anniston, Weston, and Stella. In his spare time, Brandon digs spending time with his family and friends, boating, and cheering on the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers.
Our rock star, Moses Pomales, spends his time surfing between our many locations to ensure we retain integrity in quality control across the landscape of the entire company. Moses takes the time to chat with members, answer questions, and educate customers on all the benefits of becoming a member at Woodie’s! Moses is the leader in all efforts surrounding opening a new Woodie’s location and his prior experience in the car wash industry makes him perfect for the job!
Before surfing into Woodie’s, Moses was a Regional Manager for Bay Breeze Car Wash, now known as Clean Machine Car Wash. Moses brings more than 15 years of experience to the Woodie’s team and we’re stoked to have him on board.
AKA “surfette”, Jenny came to Woodie’s after a 15 year career with the YMCA in Louisville, Nashville, and Tampa. She brings considerable experience in customer service, membership programs and marketing to our already gnarly team. Upon her departure from the Tampa Metro YMCA, the organization was serving nearly 90,000 members!
Jenny is a conservationist and an animal lover, supporting various organizations such as the Humane Society and the Ocean Conservancy. She also supports the YMCA through charitable giving to their annual campaign. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and a Master’s in Physiology & Nutrition, so we never know what we’re gonna get from her!
We are amped about Jenny and the energy she brings to the team. Woodie’s will offer an experience like none other!
The “Jake of all Trades” has been surfin’ with the Woodie’s team since January 2020 and keeps making waves! As in any entrepreneurial business, Jake and the rest of the early surfers wore a multitude of hats to help get Woodie’s off the ground. Despite joining Woodie’s in a Finance capacity, Jake’s talent for Marketing shone through.
When he was a junior surfer, he worked with several different real estate firms during his summers off from school. They include Bellaire Development, Barger Real Estate and WP Capital Partners, to name a few. He obtained his real estate license at the age of 19!
Jake holds a BSBA in Real Estate from the University of Central Florida. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, boating, and spending time with his Wife, Claire and dog, Asher.

Director of Development & Construction
Phill has a long track record of excellence, beginning with his formal education at Auburn University as a Building Science major. With over three decades of experience developing and constructing institutional, commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use projects, Phil is certainly familiar with creating some waves! Phil has been involved with such notable projects as the Hard Rock Casino and the mixed-use Mosaic Hi-rise project in Houston Texas. His wisdom and expertise in guiding the construction and development program, for the many Wash Shack’s to be built, will result in efficiency and quality uncommon to the car wash business.
AKA “The Wave Hunter” Glen’s totally tubular job is to scope out new locations that are perfect for a Woodie’s Wash Shack addition.
Glen has been in the real estate industry for over 25 years, he has developed and built new developments consisting of single-family and Multi-Family homes. He is an expert in the Southeast real estate market, with in-depth local market knowledge and long cultivated relationships.
Mr. Stygar’ s areas of expertise include residential and commercial developments, site selection, entitlements, feasibility and due diligence , market analysis, builder selection, contract negotiation, financing, value engineering and project oversight. Glen enjoys spending time on St. Pete Beach and fishing on his boat
As a 5th generation Florida native, Sid is a veteran when it comes to sun, fun, & surf! Sid graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction in 1981. He worked at Enterprise Building Company and Brown & Root until 1993 as Vice President of Operations and later transitioned to work for Clark Building Group from 1993 until 2020 as the CEO/President of the Northern and Southern Regions. Sid holds a General Contractor’s license in FL, GA, TN, NC, SC, and AL. Sid enjoys fishing, golfing, skiing, and spending time with his 5 grandchildren.
Jake is a strategic Project Manager who thrives in dynamic, growth-focused work environments with experience maintaining and growing successful relationships with ownership, general contractors, structural engineers, architects, etc. Prior to joining Woodie’s, Jake was a Project Manager for M.C. Velar Constructions Corporation where he managed projects varying in size from 100,000 – 1,500,000 SF. Jake’s field expertise ensures that the rigorous specifications Woodie’s has set forth are being adhered to and that our contractors and suppliers are on schedule, on budget, and building our Wash Shacks in a way that creates the least disturbance to our neighbors. Jake enjoys spending time with his Fiancée Sarah and two golden retrievers Chase and Macy.
Jacob came from CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP (CLA), a top 10 public accounting firm in the United States. At CLA, he was a Senior Tax Associate assisting multimillion dollar clients with various complex financial decisions and managed associates on these engagements. Jacob obtained with Bachelor’s Degree in both Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. After college, Jacob also obtained his CPA license. With his free time, Jacob loves travelling, boating, working out, and target shooting.
Prior to Woodie’s, Kristi worked in Finance as a Third-Party Administrator since 2017, where she was involved in all aspects of forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and client profitability. Kristie began her career at Raymond James in 2013 in a rotational program before starting full-time in the Real Estate Investment Banking group of Raymond James. During her time in Investment Banking, she worked on all forms of valuation, due diligence, underwriting and other support for all related transactions in both the public and private capital markets as well as M&A transactions. Kristie graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. She resides in Tampa with her husband Sean and their two young children, Maya and Lucas. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends while taking advantage of all the beautiful scenery and fun events Tampa has to offer.
Doug’s expertise as COO/CFO of high growth companies, for over 30 years, bring a level of experience to the Woodie’s Wash Shack team that will help propel the company to become one of the fastest-growing Express car wash companies in the U.S. Working with entrepreneurial as well as Fortune 100 companies, Doug has established strategic leadership, finance, mergers & acquisitions, and debt & equity initiatives. A Business Administration graduate of Texas Tech University, Doug began his career at KPMG, Peat Marwick.
